How do I pay for my item?
When you find an item you want to purchase, click the ‘Buy’ button. The item will be added to your ‘Shopping Basket’ this is found on the right of the page.

What form of payment do you accept?

To order products you click on the check out button on your item details page.
Your credit card details are removed from our server as soon as your order is finalised, and are not accessible via the internet thereafter. Currently we accept Visa, Master Card, Amex.  As an alternative you can pay through PayPal.

Is it safe to use my credit/debit card?Sci-Fi UK is a Secure Shopping Guaranteed site. All credit card information and personal details are handled with the utmost security and will never be released to any other organisation.

Your credit card number is removed from our on-line server within one minute of it arriving with us. It is stored on a separate secure server, not accessible via the internet at all.
Please note that since we began trading we have not experienced one instance of credit card fraud resulting from information passed to us.

Do you charge for postage and packaging?
Postage and packaging are calculated on the total weight of the item and this is added on at the checkout stage. We cover the whole world. Please be aware that we are at liberty to charge the correct postage if the wrong zone has been chosen. We cannot be held responsible for orders sent but not received, however we will do all we can to obtain compensation on your behalf from the carriers. UK customers have their orders sent by courier tracked  delivery, and we recommend overseas customers use International Signed For.


Do you accept international orders?
Yes! we ship to all countries.

What is your policy on returned items?
Our policy is to take anything back for whatever reason ( excluding clothing ).
If you wish to return an item that has been delivered to you then e-mail returns, explaining your reason for returning this item and include the invoice number in the header then click on the send button.
We will then issue you with a returns authorisation number, which you should write on the invoice. Enclose the invoice with your returns package within 30 days of the date on the receipt (please make a copy of the receipt for your files). This will ensure that your return is dealt with as quickly as possible.

Will my personal details remain private on your site?
Sci-Fi UK are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and according to the Which? Web Trader Code of Practice. We collect information about you to process your order and to provide you with the best possible service in the future.
We do not send unsolicited mail and give you the opportunity to refuse marketing email from us.

If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us at service. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

How do I cancel my order?
You can cancel your order at any time before shipping by e.mail cancel. Please note that orders cannot be cancelled once they have been shipped, as they are already on their way to your address!

How can I change the quantity of items that I have purchased?
Click on view basket your screen will now show what you have in your shopping basket. You now have the option to go back to the catalogue and continue shopping, or amend the quantity to order, or go to the checkout and complete the order, or reset the basket.

How can I remove items from my basket?

How can I change my details?
If you require us to amend your details please e.mail service , stating your name and account number and the information you wish us to change.

How can I change my shipping and payment details?
You may amend your existing card details or add new details by clicking the appropriate button, available in the 'Payment Details' section.

Clothing sizes
The following is a rough guideline.
Men's sizes: small= 36in chest, medium= 38in chest, large= 40in chest, Extra Large 42/ 44in chest.
Ladies sizes: small= size 10, medium=size 12, large= size 14/16.
We do not refund money on clothing, however we will exchange the item if the wrong size has been ordered. Please note that any further postage incurred has to be paid for by the customer.

Collectable Items
Please note that when purchasing a product that is either 'Discontinued' or 'Sold as a Collectable', we cannot guarantee that the item is in 100% working order.
